So it may seem odd but Tuesdays are one of my favorite days of the week. Well let me change that! Tuesday evenings are one of my most favorite evenings of the week. It is the one night of the week where we all get to come home, eat dinner together and just hang out as a family. I absolutely LOVE it! Our weeks can get so crazy with ball games, church, school and spending time with grandparents, etc. that it is not very often we have just a night to ourselves. I can get so caught up in activities and events that I lose track of just enjoying my husband and my kids. As a family that always has something going on we must take time to enjoy each other and to laugh with each other. Last night we didn’t get to just sit home and chill but we still made the most of our evening. Who knew ripping apart a maze and moving cardboard could be family time! Kids today spend so much of their time with their noses in an electronic device it’s ridiculous. I know mine do at least. So it’s fun to get them involved in other activities. Last night we moved cardboard. I’m absolutely positive they didn’t consider it fun but we were together as a family and to me that was good enough.

And when he is old he will not depart from it.” ~Proverbs 22:6
